The FABRIX project recently held an open call for “Facilitators” who will help develop circular communities in Rotterdam and Athens. This update serves to inform you that the selection process has been completed and applicants are being informed by email of the results. The public announcement of the winners will take place once they are formally on board.
We received more than two dozen applications for this role, which is an excellent reinforcement of the interest in the activities of the FABRIX project and the need for a platform to centralise and encourage circular activities. The call was useful as a first census of organisations that we are sure will be active participants on the platform, regardless of the outcome of the call itself.
The FABRIX platform is currently under development and user testing, and we look forward to working with the chosen facilitators to ensure that it meets their needs and the needs of the SMEs that they know. On the matter of SMEs, there will be a second call to welcome SMEs to the platform as its first active users; the call will open in the next few months and award ten companies in each city €5000 each!
